I am having problems with the internet. and soon, I'm going bye-bye to using it.

In 2 days, I have no more internet access since my mom is bringing her laptop home and my dad brings his laptop to the office. Therefore the turtle-speed internet would not be used anymore. Thus, the pictures would be stuck in my mother's USB.

Gawd, I hope my books save me. I am stuck here, without internet, with lame ass networks. My dad got GMA instead of TFC because of the freaking NBA. And I'm too lazy to go out, since we don't have a car yet and I haven't memorized the Bus numbers yet. And that I don't like riding their cabs here.

So far... I'm liking it. A bit. Well, if you have money you will really love this country. If you love shopping, you will truly love this place. And if you have a car, you'd go places without a frown. But since I am none of the above... well, except for the shopping part... I am not that much happy with it.

People would expect for this place to be rich with culture. Not Dubai though. Except for the locals who wear this floor length dresses/robes (white for men, black for women) so far, that's the only cultural thing I have ever seen here.

Construction is everywhere. There's a little desert to be seen, and at far away places, like the province(?).

As you can see I am not very much literate about the place, because I have no interest. Maybe, if this was a real vacation, I'd be. But it's not. It's a freaking preparation for when we really move here.

So I have to learn how to like this place.

So far it's way better than the Philippines, because here the locals are freaking rich. Rich enough that the government builds them their luxurious villas and that they don't have to work. Their police officers looks respectable in their fabulous police cars, e.g. BMW, Chevrolet, Fortuner. Hospitals uses barcodes for their labs to identify whose sample it is or whatever, and every hospital has a heli-deck. Oh and just that the constructions are everywhere proves that they are rich.

But since people are rich here, almost everyone has a car, even the poor(or what they call the poor) have cars that the traffic is unbearable during rush hours.

*as usual the title is totally unrelated to the content. gotta go and cook dinner:)
